A full kitchen redesign for a family home in Lavington. The existing kitchen was closed off from the living area and felt cramped. We opened the partition wall, created a seamless open-plan cooking and dining zone, and specified a completely bespoke cabinetry suite in matt white lacquer with warm brass hardware.
The structural wall between kitchen and dining room was a significant construction challenge. We worked closely with the structural engineer to introduce a steel beam, enabling us to remove the wall entirely and connect the two spaces.
The family now describes the kitchen as the heart of their home. The island seats four for casual meals, the cabinetry provides ample concealed storage, and the connection to the living area means the cook is never isolated from the family.
