A full visualization package for a contemporary lounge redesign in a Runda residence. The homeowner had a clear vision — mid-century modern with an African materiality — but needed to see the design realised before committing. Our visualizations explored three distinct furniture arrangements and two lighting scenarios.
Capturing the warmth of natural materials — raw stone, woven grass, leather — in a photorealistic render requires exceptional lighting craft. We used physical-based rendering with accurate IES light data to ensure the final visualizations conveyed the true atmosphere of the proposed scheme.
The client selected one of the three layouts and one of the lighting schemes with high confidence. The finished space was a faithful realisation of the chosen render, with the client commenting that the visualizations had been "indistinguishable from the real thing."
