A formal dining room visualization for a Spring Valley family home undergoing a full ground-floor redesign. The client wanted a dining space that could transition seamlessly between family dinners and formal entertaining, with a custom table for twelve and a statement lighting installation as the centrepiece.
The room had two opposing aspects that needed to be resolved — a large window with an unattractive external view, and a chimney breast that was structurally immovable. The design used full-height curtaining and built-in cabinetry to address both, turning constraints into features.
The render presentation convinced the client to commit to a custom 3.2m dining table and a sculptural pendant light cluster that became the defining feature of the space. The room now features regularly in the family's entertaining calendar.
